The texts for this course are The Web That Has No Weaver by T. Kaptchuk and Between Heaven and Earth by H. Beinfield. As you read this material you will most likely have questions. Use this category to post your questions and comment on questions posted by your classmates. This site will also be used to continue class discussions when needed. Students who have used this site have improved their understanding and increased their final grade.
Comments
The doctor as a gardener and the doctor as a mechanic are two interesting stereotypes found in BHE. Although there are exceptions to these stereotypes they are interesting concepts. What is required of the physician gardener? Is there a downside to the concept?
